Tell us about the spreadsheet
The most useful first conversation is a specific one. If there is a workbook your business leans on and it has started to hurt, describe it and we will give you a straight read on whether it is worth replacing.
What happens next
Jon reads every message himself. There is no qualification funnel and nobody will call you to book a call about booking a call.
If it looks like a fit, the next step is usually a short conversation where we look at the actual file together. That is far more informative than any questionnaire, because the exceptions and workarounds in a real workbook are the requirements.
If it is not a fit, we will say so and point you at what we think you should do instead. Sometimes the right answer is software you can just buy.
Useful things to mention
- What the spreadsheet is supposed to produce
- How many people touch it, and who maintains it
- What goes wrong today, and what it costs when it does
- Any systems it would need to talk to
Response time
Usually within a couple of business days. If something is genuinely time sensitive, say so in the message and it will move up the queue.
